The completely in-house craftsmen favour Italian and French leathers from certified tanneries, with a view to maximized quality, but also for sustainability. The craftsmanship that caters for the need to safeguard equestrian saddle tradition but which, together with the company’s innovative spirit, gives Equipe a pioneering role in new practical solutions, in terms of materials and shapes.
The core of E-Carbon saddles is the laminar saddle tree in carbon and three-composite fibres. The structure ensures their excellent technical performance which can be personalised in shape and thickness, as well as being equipped with the extremely effective D.S.B. (Damping System EQ Bridge) shock-absorbing system. The trees are machined with special high-tech equipment that defines its lines, and can boast a truly supreme manufacturing precision.

Crafted in multi-layers and shaped through a steam process, the saddle tree is reinforced with special steel to guarantee its strength and elasticity, according to the more traditional canons of great equestrian saddlery. The core of the saddle is a synthetic saddle tree made out of “INTELLIFIBERS”, a composite-structure material that offers the user maximum saddle solidity while maintaining a feeling of postural lightness. The particular anatomic shape guarantees great comfort for both horse and rider.

This model was used by Charlotte Dujardin at London 2012, and is one of the most popular dressage saddles we sell. It is a very light weight, comfortable and supportive little saddle, although the blocks look big, they do not force your leg into position, but allow it to be in the correct place, the blocks are made from calf covered foam and are soft enough to allow your knee into them.
